What is the Borgen Project and why you should care

How much do you care about poverty? Enough to give a damn? This NGO does. The Borgen Project is an NGO that works on a congressional level in order to downsize poverty worldwide. Its volunteers, interns, and donors are committed to sending out letters and email to Congress in order to make sure that poverty-reduction legislation is approved for the benefit of millions of people. The Borgen Project has helped in the access to clean water and sanitation in some countries as well as approving important bills like the Electrify Africa Act.

As a Borgen Project intern is so satisfying to see that all out efforts in order to downsize poverty and approve legislation that makes a real difference in people's lives are going somewhere. If you'd like to get involved with the Borgen Project, you can donate or email Congress. And if you'd like to learn more about the NGO, just watch the video below.
